Dr. Guido M. Renggli founded Aces Youth Sports and Soccer Foundation "AYSSF" in 2001 in Harare - Zimbabwe. Its goal is to help children from slum neighborhoods of Harare by paying their school fees, providing three healthy meals a day, football training for the boys and swimming for the girls. Thus, these youngsters are spared a life on the streets and given the opportunity to better themselves. The initiator is a Swiss professional football trainer - Mr. Marc Duvillard, who was sent by the Swiss Football Association to Zimbabwe to train their National Team. He and his wife decided to stay in Zimbabwe and help the children.

40 Children are now being taken care of. About half of them are orphans or semi-orphans. Their parents died of AIDS.

The AYSSF is also teaching the kids hygiene and AIDS prevention.

AYSSF goal is to build their own college for about 350 boys and girls and to start their professional life once they have graduated.
