Christel DeHaan - a pioneer of vacation exchange, today serves as a catalyst for corporate social responsibility and philanthropy. Her message of giving back and making a difference has been delivered at industry conferences, civic gatherings and corporate symposia around the globe. In 1998, she launched Christel House to help orphaned, abandoned and impoverished children around the world break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient, contributing members of their societies. This is accomplished through education, scholarships, health services, life-skills development and workplace integration.
