  Willem Alexander Enterprises Reports Successful Mission to China
Small US Delegation Feted by Chinese Government

Willem Alexander Enterprises (WAE) led by Jan Willem van Bergen reports yet another successful journey to China. Jan Willem was a member of a select delegation invited by Chinese Government authorities to meet with high-ranking local and central government officials.

As reported earlier, Willem Alexander Enterprises and The Asian American Business Development Center (New York City, NY) led by John Wang have entered into a partnership to jointly develop business opportunities in China. Jan Willem van Bergen, President and CEO of Willem Alexander Enterprises, a New York firm focusing on the fields of tourism, real estate, financing, development and timesharing said: "We are opening doors for close relationships in the Chinese arena. Our horizons have been expanded for the upcoming missions geared toward travel, hospitality and resorts industries.

"Our ‘group’ recently honored 50 Asian American business men and women in New York City. Senator Hilary Clinton was our keynote speaker. The eyes of the world are on China and we are proud to be among those in the "forefront" said van Bergen.

This September Jan Willem van Bergen will again travel to China to join a number of New York State Legislators on a trade mission.

In the spring of 2007 Willem Alexander Enterprises and the Asian American Business Development Center will orchestrate a journey to China for the resort, hospitality and travel industries.

Jan Willem van Bergen Henegouwen received the American Resort Development Association's ACE (ARDA Circle of Excellence) Community Service Award at its annual conference in Las Vegas.
 
 


Nearly 4,000 vacation ownership professionals from the United States and many other countries worldwide attended the ARDA conference.

In presenting the award to him, Christel DeHaan declared that he is "a remarkable individual who has literally changed the lives of an entire community over the past decade. He is a person who puts his compassion into action to make a difference in the lives of everyone around him.
